My Favorite Yoga Clothes - Budget Friendly

My wardrobe has somewhat changed over the last year - I no longer spend money on skirts, blouses, and work pants, but rather on tank tops, sport bras, and yoga pants. Working from home and incorporating yoga and the gym into my lifestyle, has lead me to look for comfortable, stylish, and affordable clothing.

One of my favorite brands of yoga leggings is Athleta. Although their tights and leggings are more on the higher end price-wise, they are worth every penny. They currently have their semi annual sale , so this would be the time to check them out! Besides, they have decent mark downs all year round so you can get items for around 20-30% less than what they usually cost.
For yoga, I prefer a high-rise fit so that everything stays tucked in! These High Rise Heartbeat Chaturanga Tights come in many different colors and styles - also in Petite, Regular, and Tall lengths. I paired these tights with a great top from Harmony Balance that I got for only $16.99 at TJ Maxx. This is my favorite store for active wear! In the colder months, I always have a long sleeved top that I can start my practice or workout in and that I can remove once I am warmed up. Underneath it, I am wearing the organic cotton Pure Tank also from Athleta that I got on sale for $21.99! Especially for yoga it is important to wear tops that stay in place so you don't have to worry about things moving around every down dog or inversion!

Next up: affordable leggings that stay in place and are not see-through! Just like the cowl neck top, these 90 Degree By Reflex tights are from TJ Maxx, as well. I own a bunch of their tights and all were under $20. I love the stir-up style on these! I bought these about a year ago, but here is a link to similar ones: Diamond Mesh Inset Leggings.
The super soft Pose Top is also from Athleta and is great for layering. I love that it covers my bootie and guess what...it is on sale right now!

Lastly: I get all of my sport bras from TJ Maxx or Marshalls. You can get name brands such as NIKE or New Balance for under $20! Especially because I practice hot yoga, I have to wash these often and need better quality, but prefer keeping the price as low as possible.

Some other great places to look for active wear: H&M, Old Navy, and even Ebay! Here are some more colorful pieces. Each tank top is a bit on the longer side and none of them ride up.

Easy Peasy Mommy Meals

I am now almost 5 months postpartum and still trying to figure this whole "mom-thing" out. Most people don't talk about how challenging it can be to juggle being a mother and partner AND to also still be your own person. Pregnancy - Tips on How to Enjoy Your Body's Changes

As my second trimester is coming to an end soon, I wanted to open up and share some tips that have made the first couple months of pregnancy a little easier on me. Perhaps there are some soon-to-be-mommies out there who can find some comfort in knowing: "You are not alone"!!!
